The new job is going pretty good so far, I’m enjoying it much more than I expected. I was really nervous before I started, and even while thinking about applying (and before my interview). But there’s not much to it, really. And I guess I’m a bit more vocal/whatever now, should get better at that eventually, too.
Long hours though, at least I’m kept busy the whole time. There’s never enough time to finish everything you’d like to get done. Last week I think I had almost 44 hours, and about the same this week. That’s a ton of overtime. I’m afraid of the taxes…
Off tonight and tomorrow though, which is cool. I’ll get to play some poker tonight with the guys (need to have a regular Thursday night game, since I’ll always be off!). Too bad my clay poker chips from ASM won’t be here, I ordered them last Friday and mailed my payment on Monday. I doubt I’ll have them before next Thursday, but should have them before my vacation at least. I’ll be sure to post pictures and an update when I do get them.
Hey there!! How’s eveything? I was looking up some Walmart Corner Brook info and came across your page. Are you still here in Corner Brook? I haven’t seen you around at all. I got married last year. I put Earle in brackets up there so you would know who I was! I have a son now too! He was born just a couple of weeks ago, July 28th. His name is Jeremy. Time goes so quickly. I can’t believe how old we’ve gotten. HA!! Anyway, write me an email if you want and I’ll send you a picture of my family! Take care!
Wow, it’s been a long time :)
I’m still around, working crazy long hours at Wal-Mart, since I’m a support manager on nights there now. And I started going back to school last year as well. I thought I saw you at the library working, but I wasn’t sure – it’s been so long since I saw you last, and the last name on your desk wasn’t the same. Didn’t want to look like an idiot if that wasn’t you ;)
Congrats on marriage and the kid. I’ll send off an email later, I’d love to see some pictures. Nice to hear from you after all these years!
